Christmas Highlights 2012

Today is January 14th, and with everything that we have been doing, and all that we have been prepping for the new baby, it feels like Christmas was light years ago, although I guess it's only been about 3 weeks.

We had an amazing holiday season and got to see all of our loved ones (minus the Left Coasties- we miss you!).  We saw Auntie Clare give her Christmas Eve sermon, Nonni and Pop-Pop (my mom and step-dad) on Christmas day, Grandpa (the only grandparent that actually goes by "grandpa or "grandma" apparently it's not fashionable to do so anymore- wink, wink) and CC (my step-mom, Cindy) the day after Christmas, and then Buh-Buh (Hubby's mom, and the "Buh-Buh" is after the first sounds Nick made, but sounds quite close to the Jewish "Bubby" (grandma)), Grand-D, and Auntie Clare the Friday after Christmas.

Nicholas and his cousin Maya were spoiled rotten ;-) and everyone had a wonderful time being together.  Here are some of my favorite pictures and moments throughout Christmas week.

Beginning at out house Christmas Morning

Nicholas was so excited about Daddy receiving a pair of Batman jammies.
Looking at these two pictures, I am shocked, SHOCKED,
Nick isn't wearing his Batman pjs.
They had to have been dirty.  It's the only explanation.

YEAH!!!
(Demonstrating his Batman moves).

Then we went over to see Nonni and Pop-Pop, Auntie Shelly, Uncle Charles and Maya

OMG!  So cute!
Nick would not participate in taking any cute pictures (Little Booger).

Ok, but this one is cute with Uncle Charles, Nick and the Wiffers.

Family picture
(Maya and her parents)

Nonni wrestling some love outta Nick.
Look at him giggle.

Nick and Pop-Pop engrossed  with Nick's new "computer", the Leap Frog Leap Pad (it is pretty cool).

At Grandpa and CC's house
I love this picture tremendously
(Daddy, I'll print it for you)

Cousins doing Ring Around the Rosie.
It was super cute, but started off a little "spirited" (read: rough),
with Maya swinging her poor cousin around so hard
that he came awfully close to the corner of the coffee table
and was nearly swept off his feet a few times.
After the words GENTLE and CAREFUL were shouted
and they were moved a safe distance from said coffee table, they were adorable.

"All fall down" the dramatic reenactment.
